The Virtual Environments and Reality Technologies Exploration (VERTEX) Lab is located in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Canada. We aim to understand how people think when working inside a 3D virtual environment with a focus on perception. Using that knowledge, we develop novel user interfaces that improve people's performance on a task but that, at the same time, are easy to use.
