Who you are: You encompass Oak Valley Health’s core values and live the words of respect, trust, commitment, compassion and courage You are a patient and/or client centered individual who performs at an exemplary standard You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills Closing Date: September 23, 2025 What we need: In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of portering duties in various areas of the Hospital, which will include: Transportation of patients and equipment to all areas Transportation of specimens, soiled equipment and Delivery of clean and soiled linen carts Transportation of pharmaceutical meds, supplies and scripts Other duties as assigned What you bring to Oak Valley Health: Previous experience in a customer service role Portering experience preferred Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient computer skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Able to prioritize and work in an environment with multiple demands Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards Demonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required. Work Schedule: The successful candidates will be required to work primarily 8 hour days, evenings and nights, scheduled alternate weekends and pick up shifts Monday through Sunday. Weekdays: 0600-1400, 0700-1500, 0800-1600, 0830-1630, 0900-1700, 1130-1930, 1200-2000, 1430-2230,1500-2300, 1600-2400,2300-0700 - Weekends: 0700-1500, 0730-1530, 1130-1930, 1200-2000, 1430-2230, 1500-2300, 1600-2400, 2300-0700 Please note that shifts are subject to change based on the operational needs of the department.
