An exciting opportunity for a skilled Material Handler is available in Oakville, ON, supporting our client's critical supply chain and logistics support operations. This role is a vital component of the production and distribution process, requiring a dedicated Warehouse Worker capable of managing all facets of inbound and outbound material flow, from receiving and inventory management to preparing and dispatching shipments. Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Oakville, ON

Responsibilities ...
• Move, handle, prepare, and maintain product and inventory control to meet shipping, receiving, or production requirements as a key Material Handler.
• Safely operate job-specific equipment, including industrial staplers, banding machines, bar code scanners, and as a certified Forklift Operator.
• Conduct accurate cycle counting and maintain orderly product storage in compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures to maximize inventory accuracy.
• Perform daily data entry of inventory and order documentation into the ERP system (SAP or another relevant system) to maintain real-time inventory visibility.
• Assist with crucial Tool Logistics Support, coordinating the tracking and movement of specialized tools between Canada and the U.S.
• Execute detailed Warehouse Operations including receiving, inspecting for damage, and staging toolkits for outbound shipment.
• Unpack and inspect returned toolkits, accurately updating inventory control systems with item status, including any damage or missing components.
• Perform basic calibration and testing of tools as required before storage or dispatch.
• Utilize ordering system for precise Database Management, updating inventory and managing incoming/outgoing orders efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to job site requests and ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of materials and tools.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and highly organized manufacturing and warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Worker, or in Shipping and Receiving.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Forklift Operator certificate and maintain a satisfactory safety record.
• Demonstrated proficiency with basic computer skills, including experience with an ERP system (SAP preferred) and various shipping software.
• Excellent physical capability for performing heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and moving material/product as required by the Material Handler duties.
• Strong ability to work in a demanding environment, managing daily duties while maintaining an excellent customer focus.
• Commitment to operating as a cohesive team member, able to work under pressure to meet tight production and customer delivery dates.
• Must be a local resident of Oakville, ON or surrounding area with reliable transportation.
