Project Overview We are developing a matchmaking platform that connects two distinct user groups. The app will focus on delivering a streamlined front-end experience (profiles, dashboards, matchmaking, communication, and transactions), while an external database will serve as the structured back-end repository supporting matching logic and project management. Core User Types User Group 1 (Clients): -Create projects with basic details, preferences, and budgets. -Receive suggested matches from the database. -Request, approve, revise, or decline proposals. -Manage communication and status updates in a personal dashboard. User Group 2 (Professionals): -Create verified profiles with credentials and service details. -Receive project matches and submit proposals. -Manage availability, billing, and active projects. -Track their interactions and transactions in a separate dashboard. Key Functional Elements: -Project Setup: Simple project creation flow with budget and preference inputs. -Matchmaking Engine: Uses defined parameters (location, budget, availability, etc.) to generate a shortlist of potential matches. -Proposal / Quoting: Clients request proposals; professionals can submit, revise, or decline. Clients then approve or reject. -Dashboards: Both user groups track projects, proposals, and communication. -Calendars & Scheduling: Availability tracking and calendar integration. -Payments: Transaction handling for platform fees, subscriptions, and renewals. -Content & Legal: Uploading content must comply with built-in terms of use and licensing disclaimers. External Database Requirements: The database will store structured information for both user groups, projects, proposals, and transactions. It must: -Support scalability across multiple cities/regions. -Be relational and secure. -Integrate seamlessly with the app for real-time updates. -Include space for membership and billing data. -Allow for future integration with AI-powered tools. Technical Expectations: -Two dashboards (one per user group). -Scalable and secure architecture. -Calendar and payment gateway integrations. -Matching logic that references the database dynamically. -Future-ready for API or AI integrations. What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a skilled developer (or small team) to handle both the app build and the external database structure. We want this app built using a Hybrid Path, starting from a solid base. The App is not to be built from scratch. Instead, it should be developed on top of an existing no-code/low-code platform (such as Bubble or FlutterFlow) or a proven marketplace/dating-style base that already includes essentials like profiles, chat, and payments. From that foundation, we need custom development to layer in: Member & Homeowner Profiles, Project Intake, Matchmaking, Messaging, and Payments in the core app database. A separate Vetting Service/Database to handle applications, sensitive documents, checks, sponsorships, scoring, and approvals. This vetting system must connect via APIs/webhooks so that it appears seamless to users but remains modular and secure behind the scenes. This approach ensures speed-to-market, lower upfront investment, and future flexibility without creating a monolithic or brittle system.
