  • Position Overview
  • This is an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to learn core business strategies and practices from one of the world’s premier golf destination brands! Reporting to Cabot’s Hospitality Marketing Manager, the Marketing Intern will join the Cabot Home Office team in Toronto, Ontario, working to deliver on the brand’s mission to “Create Magical Places.”

  • The Marketing Intern will support marketing initiatives for Cabot-managed properties and play a key role in the planning and execution of events across Cabot. This position provides a wealth of opportunities in supporting the tracking and analysis of Cabot marketing initiatives, creation of presentation decks, implementation of paid media campaigns, and other duties as assigned.

  • Hospitality Marketing
  • * Measure effectiveness of email marketing and paid media campaigns in Hubspot
  • * Assist with competitive analyses and reporting
  • * Assist in creative development for Cabot paid media campaigns 
  • * Manage and update hospitality marketing calendar

Skills

  • * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • * Excellent organizational, project and time-management skills
  • * Ability to work independently and as a part of a larger team
  • * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) is an asset
  • * Proficiency in HubSpot is an asset 
  • * Strong relationship development skills

  • Education and Work Experience
  • * Education or certification towards Marketing, Event Management, Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations or related field
  • * Experience in Marketing or Event Management is an asset but not required
  • * Experience and confidence in navigating Microsoft Office 365 is essential
