  • Marketing Associate – Pillexa
  • Full-time (35-40 hrs/week) | Hybrid (Vancouver/Surrey)
  • Pillexa builds and supports modern healthcare and wellness brands at the intersection of science, culture, and design. We’re looking for a sharp, early-career Marketing Associate who lives on social media, understands internet culture instinctively, and is excited to execute day-to-day marketing across multiple brands.
  • You will help with bringing social media, brand and creative strategy to life, keep our social channels and ambassador programs running smoothly, and surface insights that inform future direction.
  • This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants fast learning, real responsibility, and hands-on exposure to brand-building in healthcare and wellness.
  • What You’ll Own
  • Social Media Execution (Primary)
  • Own day-to-day Instagram posting (and support TikTok) across multiple brands
  • Write clear, engaging captions aligned with brand voice and guidelines
  • Schedule posts, maintain cadence, and manage content calendars
  • Adapt trends quickly into on-brand content formats
  • Track basic performance metrics and flag what’s resonating
  • Find collaborators and opportunities for growth
  • Community, UGC & Ambassador Programs
  • Manage DMs, comments, and inboxes within brand and compliance guidelines
  • Act as a primary point of contact for ambassadors and creators
  • Coordinate onboarding, follow-ups, asset requests, and deliverables
  • Source, organize, tag, and catalogue UGC content
  • Maintain creator lists, trackers, usage rights, and content libraries
  • Surface community insights, FAQs, and recurring themes to the team
  • Content, Copy & Production Support
  • Support writing of social copy, light email copy, and short-form educational content
  • Assist with content production by pulling references, trend examples, and shot ideas
  • Support shoot days when needed: prep, props, references, BTS, light asset capture
  • Help QA content for tone, clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment
  • Create simple graphics or story assets in Canva
  • AI & Tools
  • Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, AI image/video tools) to support ideation, drafting, repurposing, and organization
  • Assist with visual experimentation and rapid content iteration using AI where appropriate
  • Use AI to speed up workflows while following brand and compliance guidance
  • Coordination & Support
  • Support the Head of Brand and Head of Influencers & Partnerships with execution and follow-through
  • Keep assets, files, and documentation organized (Drive, Notion, etc.)
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables to help projects move forward smoothly
  • Who You Are
  • Extremely online — you intuitively understand IG/TikTok trends and formats
  • Strong written and spoken English skills; confident communicating via captions, DMs, and email
  • Organized, responsive, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
  • Comfortable using Canva, CapCut (or similar), Google Drive and Asana
  • People-oriented and enjoys creator and community communication
  • Curious about health, wellness, science, or startups
  • Excited to learn, take ownership, and grow into bigger responsibility
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience running a personal or brand social account
  • Familiarity with AI creative tools (image, video, or writing)
  • Basic photography or videography skills
  • Experience creating UGC or appearing on camera
  • Experience supporting influencer or ambassador programs
  • Exposure to healthcare, wellness, or science content (not required)
  • Experience
  • 0–3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, social media, or administrative support role
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field (diploma or degree required)
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns across digital channels (social media, email, website, or paid ads)
  • Experience creating, scheduling, or coordinating content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok
  • Familiarity with basic marketing tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities
