Job Description What is the opportunity? As part of the CLAO team, the Manager, Regulatory Engagement, Practice Management will be responsible for supporting regulatory remediation plans, and continuous improvement of ECCO risk and control program. This ensures appropriate identification, assessment, and coverage of the action plans part of the remediation activities across the first line of defense and enhancing our risk management and regulatory compliance capabilities to ensure the bank is well-positioned for future opportunity and sustainable growth. The manager will also oversee the management and reporting of key Non-Financial Risk (NFR) categories within ECCO, ensuring effective governance and integration into the broader risk management ecosystem where the role will provide advisory support to business units on integrating NFR consideration into day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives What will you do? Develop regulatory remediation status reports and support the team to complete the remediation activities while tracking the phases of the project plans. Create and maintain team documentation, including internal procedure documents, training materials, and communications Co-lead management action plans and provide strategic oversight into remediation approach and execution for 1LOD Business Units. Provide timely and proactive guidance to key stakeholders to effectively track the remediation activities in conformance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Co-lead discussions on 1LOD’s regulatory issues, including the development of thematic observations, conclusions and recommendations related to regulatory issues. Supporting the planning, execution and delivery phases of the regulatory portfolios within the ECCO. Partner with first, second and third line of defense colleagues, serving as a conduit to ensure coordination of the program completion. Provide support to develop and deliver training sessions, forums, and guidance materials to elevate risk awareness methodology knowledge and operational risk capabilities across 1LOD teams. Work in a consultative manner with operational and other functional specialists to implement relevant laws, regulations and guidance into bank processes and procedures Responsible for fostering a culture of compliance with existing and pending regulations What do you need to succeed? Must-have Experience in operational risk management Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or other related field Knowledge in regulatory remediation and non-financial risk categories in a large, complex organization Establish comprehensive status reporting, issue tracking, and coordination of issue validation and closure packages Analytical skills, with experience in conducting complex risk analyses and thematic reviews Experience supporting regulatory and audit engagements Nice-to-have CPA, CIA, FRM, CFA or other related designations What’s in it for you?
