  • Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Manager, Integrated Services leads a unified portfolio that delivers safe, accessible, and high-quality services for members, visitors, and staff. The role oversees facilities and security, library services and visitor experience, external relations, and studio and production. The Manager coordinates these service lines to provide a connected experience, strengthen internal and external relationships, and support the College’s mandate, values, and commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  
  • Operational Management and Facility Services 
  • * Provide leadership and oversight for building operations, maintenance, and security through the Facility Coordinator to maintain a safe, and accessible environment.
  • * Direct and support the Facility Coordinator in managing vendor relationships and leading any associated RFP process, ensuring fair, transparent, and cost-effective procurement. 
  • * Oversee and manage operational projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies are maintained. 
  • * Guide the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance standards are met.
  • * Review and monitor budgets and resource allocation for operational areas, working closely with the Facility Coordinator.
  • * Participate as the Management representative on the Joint Health and Safety Committee. 
  • * Champion continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and sustainability, delegating execution to the Facility Coordinator.

  • Engagement and External Relations
  • * Provide strategic leadership for external relations initiatives, ensuring alignment with the College’s mandate and organizational priorities.
  • * Manage and mentor External Relations Officers, setting objectives, providing guidance, and reviewing performance.
  • * Approve plans for outreach activities, event participation, and relationship-building strategies developed by the team.
  • * Oversee the development and distribution of promotional materials and ensure consistency with College messaging.
  • * Monitor engagement outcomes, review reports prepared by staff, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • * Foster collaboration across departments to integrate external relations into broader organizational initiatives.

  • Knowledge and Media Services
  • * Provide strategic leadership for library and studio and production services, ensuring alignment with the College’s mandate, Strategic Plan, and accessibility standards.
  • * Manage and mentor the Librarian and studio and production staff, setting priorities, reviewing performance, and fostering collaboration across teams.
  • * Approve plans for library operations, collection development, and digital service enhancements proposed by the Librarian.
  • * Oversee studio and production workflows and schedules, ensuring visual identity, AODA compliance, and quality standards are maintained.
  • * Monitor resource allocation, vendor relationships, and budget performance for library and studio and production areas, delegating operational tasks to team leads.
  • Visitor Experience
  • * Set service standards and protocols for visitor safety, accessibility, and experience.
  • * Act as escalation point for service issues and resolve promptly.
  • * Support special events by coordinating hospitality and logistics in collaboration with the Communications and Media team.
  • Other duties
  • * Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Corporate Services.
  • Qualifications, Skills & Experience: 
  • * Post-secondary degree in business administration, operations management, communications, or related field.
  • * 7 – 10 years of progressive experience in corporate services, operations, or facilities management, including at least 5 years of progressive people leadership experience and at least 2 years of experience at a senior strategic level. 
  • * Designations and certifications not required but considered an asset include: Project Management Professional (PMP), PROSCI, Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), or Facility Management Professional (FMP)
  • * Demonstrated leadership experience coaching and managing multidisciplinary teams across operations, engagement, and support services, with the ability to foster collaboration and an inclusive workplace culture.
  • * Strategic oversight skills to guide facilities, external relations, library, and studio and production functions in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • * Expertise in operational planning, vendor management, budgeting, and process improvement, including oversight of contracts and service agreements.
  • * Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills to engage internal and external interest-holders effectively.
  • * Project and time management abilities to balance competing priorities and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • * Knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA), health and safety legislation, and best practices in operational compliance.
  • * Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA) principles in all aspects of leadership and service delivery.
  • * Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
