We are seeking highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Mailroom Clerks in Mississauga. This role is essential for maintaining the efficient flow of all internal and external correspondence and packages.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $22/hr
Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check and credit check is mandatory for this position due to the handling of confidential financial information and company assets

Responsibilities
- Sorting and Distribution: Accurately receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail, internal mail, faxes, and courier packages to the appropriate departments and personnel in a timely manner.

- Outgoing Mail Processing: Collect, prepare, and process all outgoing mail and packages, ensuring proper packaging, addressing, and correct postage application using mailroom equipment (e.g., postage meters).
- Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate with various courier services (e.g., FedEx, Purolator, UPS) for scheduled pickups and deliveries, including logging and tracking all shipments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs and records of incoming and outgoing mail volumes, postage usage, and package tracking information.
- Supply Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of mailroom supplies (envelopes, stamps, packaging materials) and assist with reordering as necessary.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and perform basic maintenance on mailroom equipment, including postage meters, printers, and scanners.
- Confidentiality: Handle all correspondence, particularly confidential and sensitive documents, with the utmost discretion and adherence to company privacy protocols.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative and office services tasks, such as high-volume printing and scanning, as directed.
Qualifications
Education: Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous experience in a mailroom, clerical, or office services environment is preferred
Asset: Familiarity with standard postal and courier procedures is an asset
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
