We are looking for a skilled Magento eCommerce Tester to join our team on a contract basis to help us ensure the quality and functionality of our Magento-powered online store. This role requires a combination of manual testing and automation expertise, specifically tailored to eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Magento, an eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring high-quality user experiences. This is a contract position with an hourly rate of $100, and we are looking for a professional who can hit the ground running and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manual Testing: Conduct detailed functional, regression, and acceptance testing of the Magento eCommerce website. Review system specifications, user stories, and workflows to identify gaps or issues early in the development cycle. Execute testing on various devices, browsers, and user environments to ensure cross-platform compatibility. Prepare and document test cases, scenarios, and results for manual testing. Automation Testing: Write and maintain automated test scripts for Magento using tools like Selenium and PHPunit. Work to integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for efficient and consistent testing across all stages of development. Automate regression testing to reduce manual testing workload and improve speed to production. Defect Tracking & Reporting: Report defects in a clear and concise manner, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved promptly. Provide feedback and quality assurance metrics to help the development team improve code quality and site performance. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve testing practices.
