I’m seeking an experienced specialist to take over a partially completed Windows remote control application developed in C#, for which the original source code is no longer available. The original developer is no longer reachable, and recent system behaviour suggests the presence of suspicious or potentially harmful code within the application. The scope of work includes conducting a full reverse engineering and security analysis of the existing executable, identifying and removing any malicious or unsafe components, and restoring the application to a secure and stable state. In addition, the application needs to be completed and enhanced with advanced remote control features, improved performance, and modern, up-to-date technologies aligned with current Windows security and communication standards. Strong expertise in reverse engineering, malware analysis, Windows internals, and advanced C# development is essential. Experience with secure remote access systems, network protocols, and application hardening will be considered a strong asset. All work will be conducted exclusively through a secure remote desktop connection, with no external file transfers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a controlled local environment while delivering high-quality, production-level code.
