Are you looking for a seasonal, full-time position during the summer months and willing to take the chance to be a part of a team-oriented crew that creates an extraordinary experience for our guests?

Eagle Pointe Lodge is where you will find it. We are located on beautiful Wales Island, located just north of Prince
Rupert, BC.

Reporting to the Head Chef, we are seeking a Lodge Assistant who has a passion for hospitality and elevating guest experiences.
The ideal candidate must be guest service oriented with a strong ability to take initiative to do what needs to be done to ensure guest satisfaction. Living a remote lifestyle, our Lodge Assistant needs to be a positive, team player working alongside the other front and back of house staff, dedicated to providing an extraordinary guest experience.

This is a full-time, seasonal position with the approximate start and end dates are May 1 through to early September 2026.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in serving, housekeeping and dishwashing an asset.
  • Previous work experience in remote locations/lodge an asset.
  • Previous work or an interest in gardening an asset.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks as required managing fluctuating workloads.
  • Physically fit, ability to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for the duration of your shift.
  • Up to date Serving It Right.
  • Experience with POS/ Square an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning common guest and staff areas, including vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and restocking.
  • Assist with barista services, setting of tables and dish duty will be a core responsibility.
  • Managing the gift shop, restocking inventory, assisting guests with checkout, keeping stock inventoried and orderly.
  • Small landscaping jobs include watering plants, weed control, and maintaining small greenhouse.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout the interior and exterior of lodge.
  • Prioritizing tasks and seeking opportunities to share workloads and help where required.
