• Orangutech is a Microsoft Gold Partner specializing in digital transformation for the Government of Canada. We design and deliver secure, scalable solutions leveraging the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem — including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.

• We are seeking a Lead Power Platform Developer to architect, develop, and lead the implementation of enterprise-grade business applications for federal clients. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong solution design leadership and a collaborative approach.

• Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Azure services, and other enterprise systems.
• Oversee application lifecycle management (ALM) using Azure DevOps, Git, or TFS.
• Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles in solution design.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for developers.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable components, connectors, and APIs.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards in government environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and client stakeholders throughout project delivery.

• Required Qualifications

• Secret Clearance
• 10+ years of experience as a Programmer Analyst / Developer in IM/IT project environments.
• 5+ years developing multi-tier solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365.
• Proven expertise in OOAD and SOA principles for web-based systems
• Strong proficiency with .NET, C#, JavaScript, and REST-based integration patterns.
• Experience developing and deploying solutions to Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, etc.).
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, or equivalent for code versioning and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security roles, and environment management.
