Location: Oxford Athletic Club – Wexford, PA

Position Overview:

Oxford Athletic Club is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our team as Kids Programming & Events Attendants. This dynamic role combines leading children's recreational programming and facilitating fun, high-energy birthday parties. Attendants will lead age-appropriate games, coach activities, support event logistics, and create memorable experiences for kids ages 3–13.

Key Responsibilities:

Kids Programming:

• Lead structured games, crafts, and activities during evening and weekend programs
• Assist with sports, pool activities, and interactive games
• Foster a fun, inclusive, and safe environment for all children
• Take attendance and manage group behavior with patience and positivity
• Support setup, breakdown, and sanitation of program areas

Birthday Parties & Events:

• Host and manage children’s birthday parties on Friday evenings and weekends
• Set up and decorate party areas including basketball courts, outdoor spaces, and pools
• Greet families, manage guest check-in, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Lead party games and activities including inflatables and bounce houses
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for food service and guest satisfaction
• Clean and reset party spaces for upcoming events

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1–2 years of experience working with children in camps, schools, or recreational programs
• Outgoing, engaging, and dependable team player
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience in coaching or leading group activities preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Must obtain PA Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal History Check, and FBI Fingerprinting

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and inflatable equipment
• Comfortable going up and down stairs and working on your feet
• Must be proficient in swimming and comfortable supervising children in the pool
• Able to lead physical games and outdoor activities

Schedule & Availability:

• Required availability: Friday evenings and weekends
• Additional evening hours available during scheduled kids programming sessions
