Job Overview

  • GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Junior Well Tester to join our Valued Clients team in the Grande Prairie area. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual beginning or developing a career in the oil and gas industry and committed to safety, learning, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior well testing personnel with the setup, operation, and monitoring of well testing equipment
  • Support data collection, sampling, and basic reporting under supervision
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and client-specific requirements
  • Participate in equipment maintenance, rig-up, and rig-down activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Ability to work long hours in remote and outdoor environments
  • Strong commitment to safety and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous oilfield or field-based work experience
  • H2S Alive, First Aid, and WHMIS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment

Work Environment

  • This role is field-based in and around Grande Prairie and may involve outdoor work in varying weather conditions, physically demanding tasks, and extended workdays. Personal protective equipment and safety training are provided.
