Overview We are building a high-performance online education and personal branding ecosystem that produces a large volume of short-form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. We are seeking an experienced Viral Content Director / Content Strategist to architect, analyze, and refine the entire content engine responsible for scaling our brand to millions of followers. This role requires advanced expertise in virality, storytelling, content psychology, and operational content systems. You will be responsible for designing the overall content strategy, directing editors, optimizing narrative frameworks, and ensuring high-level execution across all channels. Responsibilities 1. Viral Content Strategy and Development Build the overarching viral content roadmap for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Develop frameworks for high-retention hooks, intros, pacing, and emotional engagement. Identify platform trends and convert them into actionable weekly creative directives. Establish content angles that drive organic reach, shareability, and engagement. Create repeatable content templates for high-volume production. 2. Creative Direction and Leadership Lead a team of editors, thumbnail designers, and scripting assistants. Provide detailed creative feedback on pacing, cropping, subtitles, structure, and storytelling elements. Oversee the clipping and refinement of raw long-form footage into optimized short-form pieces. Maintain consistency in brand identity, messaging, and narrative quality. Ensure the content pipeline remains efficient and operational at scale. 3. Data Analysis and Optimization Evaluate performance metrics such as retention graphs, watch-through rates, engagement velocity, and click-through behavior. Identify underlying patterns behind high-performing content and integrate findings into strategy. Conduct A/B testing on hooks, captions, thumbnails, sounds, and posting variations. Recommend iterative improvements based on data-driven insights and platform behavior. 4. Workflow Systemization and Process Engineering Develop structured workflows for content extraction, clip tagging, hook optimization, metadata creation, and publishing. Streamline the content production pipeline to increase output efficiency. Ensure reliable daily execution of posting and optimization. Implement systems that support high-volume output (100–300 clips per month). 5. Messaging and Positioning Architecture Define core themes, messaging pillars, and narrative frameworks. Translate the founder’s voice, tone, and personality into consistent, scalable content formats. Maintain alignment between content direction and broader brand strategy. Requirements Proven experience creating viral short-form content across major platforms. Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts algorithms. Expertise in analyzing retention, engagement metrics, and viewer behavior. Prior experience leading or directing a creative team. Strong abilities in scripting, storytelling, and developing content frameworks. High-level understanding of growth psychology and content performance indicators.
