We are a new jewelry brand based in Canada, preparing to launch a collection of real gold and plated jewelry. Our pieces will feature emeralds (both natural and lab-grown), with a focus on luxury, timeless design, and everyday elegance. We are looking for a skilled jewelry designer to help us bring our first collection to life. Responsibilities Design original pieces ( necklaces, bracelets, custom objects) using real gold, gold plating, and emeralds. Provide CAD drawings and detailed specifications ready for manufacturing. Collaborate on brand vision, ensuring designs balance luxury with wearability. Suggest materials, gemstone cuts, and finishing options. Revise designs based on feedback. Requirements Strong portfolio in fine jewelry design (real gold + plated pieces). Proficiency in CAD software Knowledge of emeralds (natural and lab-grown) and gemstone settings. Experience with manufacturing requirements and attention to detail. Creativity, originality, and understanding of jewelry trends. Nice to Have (Big Plus!) Existing connections to sourcing or manufacturing partners for gold, plating, and gemstones. Experience with emerald-focused designs. Ability to suggest suppliers for production.
