- We're excited to announce a newly created position at Ross Video — Item Master Data Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a key function within our growing organization. As the first in this new role, you’ll have the chance to develop best practices, influence cross-functional processes, and make a lasting impact on how we manage item master data across our systems.
- Working closely with teams from Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, IS, and Change Management, you’ll be the go-to expert for item master data integrity, governance, and optimization within our ERP and connected platforms.

- What You'll Do
As the Item Master Data Analyst, you'll
- Own and govern item master data across ERP, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards.
- Act as the escalation point for data entry issues, troubleshooting problems and driving resolution with IS or process owners.
- Monitor workflows for delays or bottlenecks, escalating promptly and following through until closure.
- Run audits and data integrity checks, coordinate corrections, and track recurring issues.
- Partner with business units to align on product structures, serialization rules, and shared standards.
- Maintain process documentation, capture lessons learned, and support training to reduce recurring errors.
- Collaborate with IS on system limitations and participate in ERP testing, upgrades, and integrations.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to refine standards, workflows, and tools for efficiency and data quality.
- Key Responsibilities
- Ensure item master data integrity and governance across ERP and connected systems.
- Establish and enforce best practices for workflows, approvals, and service-level adherence.
- Serve as the central contact for item master escalations, collaborating across product, engineering, manufacturing, and IS.
- Partner with IS to resolve workflow bottlenecks, address system limitations, and support ERP enhancements.
- Provide training and support to SMEs and document control teams, including onboarding materials and guidance.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to standards, tools, and practices.
- Support broader ERP-related initiatives, including troubleshooting, reporting, and manufacturing process alignment.

- Detail-oriented, with a strong eye for catching errors and ensuring data accuracy.
- Process-driven and comfortable working within standards, workflows, and structured systems.
- Analytical problem-solver who can trace root causes and recommend clear solutions.
- Collaborative communicator able to bridge technical, operational, and business perspectives.
- Systems thinker who understands how item master data decisions impact ERP, PLM, Finance, and operations.
- Experience managing item master data in ERP systems (Infor LN, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Advanced understanding of BOMs, product structures, revisions, and workflows.
- Hands-on experience working with Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
- Background in supply chain, operations, data governance, or engineering support.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have
- APICS/ASCM, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications.
- Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and SQL.
