Summary:
This role involves close coordination with external IT support consultants, ERP system experts, and adherence to corporate IT governance and controls. The ideal candidate will be the go-to person for resolving technical issues, supporting users, and maintaining system integrity across our production and administrative operations.
Essential Duties:
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization
- Collaborate with external IT support consultants to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Monitoring and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and networking equipment
- Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, including data security, access controls and backup procedures
- Participate in IT audits and support the implementation of corrective actions
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and manage procurement, provisioning and maintenance of workstations and software
- Set up new PCs and Laptops as needed
- Ensure security/camera systems are in place and fully operational
- Researches and recommends new software as needed/requested
- Manages phone system
- Other miscellaneous projects/tasks as assigned.
Additional Duties:
- Assist in system upgrades, patch management, and software deployments
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and maintain an internal knowledge base
- Train end-users on new technologies, software tools and IT best practices
- Provide ad hoc reporting requirements for department heads/personnel as required
- Manages vendor relationships, including hardware and software vendors. Ensures that service level agreements (SLAs) are met
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Analytical abilities, attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Able to work with minimal supervision using strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
- Outstanding problem-solving, value-creating support and solutions that ensure expectations are clear and progress is timely with regard to the resolution of requests or projects
- Competent computer skills including data entry, MS Office Suite, Internet, and Adobe Acrobat
- Competent experience with MAS (500, 200 or 90) database programs preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.96 - $28.86 per hour
