Define integration points with IT networks while maintaining strict OT security boundaries.
Evaluate existing network infrastructure and identify gaps.
Recommend hardware platforms, software versions, and protocols aligned with utility standards.

Security & Compliance
Incorporate cybersecurity best practices (NERC CIP, IEC 62443).
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Documentation
Deliver detailed design documents, topology diagrams, configuration guidelines, High-level architecture document, design templates and Engineering Standards, etc.
Detailed design package (including IP addressing, routing, MPLS VPN design, IP/MPLS QoS architectural and traffic engineering design, etc.).
Security architecture and compliance considerations.
Develop and execute Lab verification, migration and implementation plans.
Provide test report and engineering memo as needed.

Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies: LDP, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing, QoS, MPLS VPNs.
Hands-on experience with Nokia IP/MPLS platforms (e.g., 7750 SR, NSP).
Industry Experience
Minimum 10 years in telecom network design, with at least 5 years in utility or critical infrastructure.
Certifications
Must have Nokia NRS II or Nokia Certified Service Routing Architect (SRA).
CCIE/JNCIE or similar advanced certifications are assets.
Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, ISA/IEC 62443) are assets.
