Responsibilities
• Accurately manage the full sales cycle, including the entry of B2B customer orders and quote generation within the SAP Business One ERP system.
• Maintain and update comprehensive customer portfolios and account records for the building supply and MRO distribution client base.
• Proactively follow up on open quotes and pending orders to move the sales process forward and ensure timely delivery.
• Respond to all customer inquiries and issues via phone and email promptly, reliably, and professionally.
• Serve as the key internal contact, coordinating with warehousing and logistics teams to resolve product, inventory, and account-related challenges. • Work consistently within an in-office environment (Concord, Ontario), adhering to the 7:30 am – 3:30 pm M-F schedule, with potential for self-managed flexibility once fully trained.
• Commit to self-directed learning, rapidly acquiring deep product knowledge specific to MRO and renovation building materials to enhance B2B customer support.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an Inside Sales, technical customer service, or order management role.
• Previous experience in the distribution, building supply, or MRO industry is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with B2B sales and managing professional business accounts.
• Familiarity and comfort with ERP systems and strong technical acumen; SAP Business One knowledge is an asset.
• Highly reliable, responsive, and professional disposition in all customer interactions.
• Commitment to an in-office environment in Concord, Ontario.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
