About
Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Dusty. Wet/damp. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Slaughter houses. Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment. Poultry processing plant. Tasks: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Installing machinery and equipment. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Perform on-site servicing and repair. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment. Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear. Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance. Read blueprints to determine work requirements .
