What you will do Do you have a passion for HVAC and mechanical systems? We are looking for an Apprentice to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team supporting our client’s site in Fort Saskatchewan. This role will allow you to learn and grow while working with advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment. You will gain exposure to vintage and top-of-the-line technology and equipment with a strong focus on employee safety. We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards. We will equip you with tools (excluding tools outlined in the union agreement) and uniforms to perform your job at the highest standard. How you will do it Performs a variety of service work in one or more specialized building systems such as mechanical HVAC Equipment. Filter changing and service thereof Oiling and greasing Belt adjusting or replacement Cleaning of coils, evaporator and condenser. Plans, selects, and lays out required materials for service and repair work. Operates a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards. Perform other duties as required What we look for Required Enrollment in a recognized HVAC or mechanical apprenticeship program (Apprentice Level 1–4) Interest in gaining hands-on experience in light/heavy commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical systems. Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain required certifications Good verbal and written communication skills. Hold a valid CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) Pay Range: $28.33- $48.16 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
