Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative support to key HR functions including recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll processing, HR compliance, Performance Management and software administration. This role will also maintain employee records, compliance requirements and handle uniform distribution. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong HR and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Onboarding Support:

  • Assist with job postings and sourcing of resumes to identify potential candidates for job openings.
  • Coordinate interviews of potential new hires.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Ensure all new employees complete necessary paperwork, including I-9 Form verification and tax documents. Process new hires through E-verify.
  • Maintain and update employee files, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations as applicable.
  • Track and monitor employee compliance with training, certifications, and company policies. Proactively follow up with employees to ensure compliance is maintained in this area.

Employee Records & Performance Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee files (digital and physical) while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Assist with the tracking of full-time and part-time employees’ statuses.
  • Ensure proper documentation is kept for all employment changes, terminations, and promotions.
  • Provide support in performance management processes as needed.

Payroll Support:

  • Prepare and assist with the processing of payroll ensuring accurate and timely payment for all employees on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Handle employee expense reimbursements in coordination with the finance department.

Uniform Distribution

  • Distribute and manage employee uniforms, ensuring proper inventory and distribution.

Employee Systems Administration & Medicaid Applications

  • Manage employee software access including various system logins and email setup. Support employees on password resets as needed.
  • Assist employees with Medicaid applications and ensure proper documentation is completed.

Other Human Resources duties and tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate’s degree in related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or Human Resources administrative roles.
  • Understanding of HR compliance and employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
