  • Join the Chén̓chenstway Human Resources Department as an HR Systems Support, a critical role responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of employee data and supporting the effective operation of multiple HR systems across the Squamish Nation.
  • This position provides operational, technical, and process‑improvement support for HRIS platforms and plays an important part in ensuring HR workflows are accurate, efficient, and aligned with Nation policies, FOIPPA/PIPEDA requirements, and the needs of employees and leaders.
  • This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, systems‑savvy HR professional who excels in data integrity, problem-solving, and multi‑system HR support in a fast‑paced and confidential environment.
  • WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • * Oversee the accuracy and integrity of employee data across multiple HR systems, proactively performing audits and resolving discrepancies
  • * Provide system support to employees and stakeholders, troubleshooting HRIS inquiries and vendor‑related issues.
  • * Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and perform approved system updates, ensuring proper documentation.
  • * Conduct data audits and prepare reports by extracting and validating information from HR systems.
  • * Support system configuration updates (e.g., creating test scripts), process optimization, and system adoption.
  • * Maintain digital employee records in Laserfiche with full compliance to FOIPPA and PIPEDA.
  • * Monitor shared HR inboxes and respond to HRIS‑related inquiries within service timelines.
  • * Support cross‑functional HR partners (Training, Wellness, Health & Safety, Compensation, and Talent) to ensure shared data integrity and a consistent employee experience.
  • * Compile and prepare documentation for audits, compliance requests, and internal reviews.
  • * Protect confidential information through strong privacy practices, secure documentation, and ethical data handling.
  • * Perform additional duties to support Chén̓chenstway Human Resources operations as needed.
  • WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • * Certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • * Coursework in HR systems, data management, or analytics is an asset.
  • * Ongoing professional development in HR programs, legislation, and systems will be required.
  • * 2–3 years of experience in HR with hands‑on use of multiple HRIS platforms (minimum two enterprise systems).
  • * Experience with ADP Workforce Now, HR4, Laserfiche, or similar HR software.
  • * Strong experience maintaining digital records and preparing HR reports and dashboards.
  • * Experience supporting process improvements, workflow mapping, and system troubleshooting.
  • * High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • * Intermediate to advanced Excel capability (pivot tables, lookups, data validation, charts).

  • Salary: $62,500 - $87,500
  • Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range.
