- Join the Chén̓chenstway Human Resources Department as an HR Operations Support team member—an essential role that ensures smooth, accurate, and timely HR operations across the department. This frontline and systems‑focused position provides transactional support, maintains HR templates and documentation, ensures data integrity across platforms, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the overall employee experience.
- This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy, and service‑centered HR professional who enjoys operational work, accurate processing, structured workflows, and improving internal systems in a collaborative environment.
- WHAT YOU’LL DO
- * Process routine HR transactions, including terminations, vacation/overtime payouts, payroll adjustments, and HRIS profile updates.
- * Manage benefits and pension enrollments, updates, and reporting requirements.
- * Provide first-line HRIS support, helping employees and managers navigate systems and resolve basic issues.
- * Support managers with self‑service reporting and workforce management tools to build confidence and routine capability.
- * Document workflows, processes, decision points, and create swimlane‑style process maps.
- * Map end‑to‑end HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, HR self‑service, manager workflows), identifying friction points and recommending improvements
- * Conduct cross‑system reconciliations across ADP, Laserfiche, benefits, and pension platforms to ensure data alignment.
- * Support file and case management systems, including naming conventions, documentation standards, and evidence logs.
- * Support department initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- * Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- * CPHR designation or coursework in progress is an asset.
- * Ongoing professional development in HR systems, workflow mapping, documentation practices, or process improvement.
- * Minimum 1 year of HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3 years with a Diploma, specifically in HR operations, transactions, or HR‑focused administration.
- * Experience supporting HR lifecycle transactions, data updates, documentation management, and routine HR inquiries.
- * Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP, Laserfiche, or Zendesk; comfortable learning new systems.
- * Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- * Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to change.
- * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in a clear, helpful way.
- * Strong time‑management, follow‑through, and accuracy in all deliverables.

- Salary: $54,000 - $75,500
- Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range.
