We are looking for a skilled and reliable 3D animator to develop a high-quality short clip for a proposal to potential clients. The clip would be akin to a cutscene from a videogame. Information is below: - 40s to 1min long. - Preview done in a week. Allow for our input, possibly multiple times, and then final version no later than 2-weeks thereafter (overall, about 3-weeks for timeline) - Length will be taken into account for proposal assessments (longer the better) -Budget is very important as we don't have cash-flow (at the moment) - Fantasy setting, like Skyrim, LOTR, Warhammer, etc - 3 characters: warrior with sword, wizard with staff, archer with bow & arrow -entering a forest or cave or castle or similar setting -fighting a monster/enemy (dragon, giant skeleton, ogre, etc). -Enemy must be highly detailed as well. -3D assets are acceptable, as long as they are of a good quality -3D assets must not have royalty or licensing handcuffs for us to use in the future Again, we are looking for an animator for long-term if this proposal is accepted by clients. The intent will be to make much longer videos (10min and above) in the future, with multiple of them per year. Attached is a text storyboard that gives an idea of what we are expecting to see. We are open to your creative direction and suggestions. Your current 3D assets you may have are acceptable as long as they meet the aforementioned conditions. We want an immersive feel from the winning proposal, taking the short clip from beginning to end (staging, animation setup, camera direction, and post-processing and high rendering). Voicing the characters is a non-issue. Stock noises/sound effects and stock VFX are fine too - but again, no royalty or licensing issues and of good quality. We are open to your ideas. FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES: If you are selected as the winning proposal, and the prospective clients wish to pursue our idea, we are likely going to rehire you for multiple videos in 2026 of 10-minutes long or more. We plan to also try other settings, such as science-fiction and much more. You will be a key contributor in our pitch to the clients!
