About the Opportunity RAC is a purpose-led organisation working to create a safer and more sustainable WA. As a Health & Safety Officer, you’ll gain exposure to real-world challenges, contribute to proactive safety culture development, and support compliance with relevant legislation and standards. What You'll Be Doing • Be the first point of contact for general Health & Safety enquiries • Supporting workplace safety assessments, risk reviews and incident investigations • Participating in audits and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives • Analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement • Engaging with teams across RAC to promote a strong safety-first culture What You'll Bring You’re someone who takes pride in doing meaningful work and building strong relationships. You bring enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to learning as well as; • A relevant qualification in Work Health & Safety (Certificate IV, Diploma, or tertiary qualification). • Previous experience, volunteering or project work in H&S or a related area (highly regarded). • Strong administration, coordination and communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office. • The ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work that aligns with RAC’s values and organisational goals. • A collaborative approach and genuine interest in contributing to a positive safety culture.
