Role Description
The Head of Financial Operations is a strategic and results-oriented finance leader overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of our Financial Health organization. Operating as a "mini-CFO," this role is integral to driving financial performance, optimizing margins, and providing actionable insights to the General Manager.
- Oversee P&L management and deliver regular financial updates
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align operational execution with the company's strategic objectives
- Combine financial stewardship with operational excellence to drive value creation
- Enhance customer satisfaction and support sustainable business growth
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of revenue cycle services and technology solutions
Essential Functions:
- Develop a strategic perspective on the business and customers
- Develop and implement operational strategies with business teams to drive profitability
- Partner with sales around pipeline review process for pricing alignment
- Oversee day-to-day operations across departments
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
- Serve as key advisor to GM using data and analysis for decision-making
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for operational activities
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Lead the development of financial strategies that support growth and innovation
- Deliver in-depth financial analysis for board reviews and investor presentations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in operations or business management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams
- Expertise in financial planning and budget management
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
