Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: 5-10 people. Industrial butchers and meat cutters, poultry preparers and related workers. Labourers in food, beverage and tobacco processing. Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate. Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Regulations knowledge: Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Do you have experience working in this field?.
