About
We’re Lake, a vacation-rental / OTA-style platform with an active Google Hotel Center feed of ~42,000 properties. The feed is live and valid, and most properties are “Ready to show.” However, we need an experienced specialist to troubleshoot and optimize our integration so we can pass Google’s final certification and go fully live on Google Search and Maps. This is not a general Google Ads job. We’re looking for someone who has already completed at least one full Google Hotel Center implementation end-to-end. Objectives #1. Increase Price Coverage to 95–100% • Diagnose why a subset of properties are not “Ready to show.” • Resolve feed, mapping, and configuration issues that impact price coverage. #2. Achieve and Maintain Excellent Price Accuracy • Achieve an Excellent Price Accuracy score and maintain it for 3 consecutive business days, following Google’s price accuracy policies. • Align on how taxes, fees, and total prices are calculated and displayed between Google and our booking engine. #3. Achieve Trustability (98–100%) for Structured Data Markup • Implement / refine structured data markup on our landing pages to support Google’s price accuracy checks. • Validate implementation using Google’s Rich Results Test and Hotel Center tools. #4. Final Certification & Launch Readiness • Work with our team to pass Google’s final account validation and certification for Hotel Center. • Ensure we’re ready for internal “Go Live” approval, with properties fully enabled on Google Search and Maps. Current Setup • Active, valid Google Hotel Center feed with ~42,000 properties live. • Majority of properties show as “Ready to show”, with a smaller segment impacted by data issues. Main challenges: • Price Coverage (getting to/maintaining 95–100%) • Price Accuracy & Trustability scores • Structured data is partially implemented; needs expert review and refinement. Responsibilities • Review our existing Hotel Center configuration, feeds, and diagnostics. • Identify root causes of: __ Missing or low price coverage __ Price mismatches or policy violations __ Low trustability / structured data issues Implement or guide changes to: • Hotel list and price feeds • Landing page URL logic, parameters, and deep-linking • Structured data markup (schema.org, etc.) Collaborate with our dev team (and any third-party vendors) to: • Validate fixes in staging/production • Monitor metrics (Price Coverage, Price Accuracy, Trustability) over time Prepare a short handover document so our team understands: • What was changed • How to monitor and maintain compliance going forward Required Experience (Must-Haves) Please only apply if you meet all of these: • You have direct, hands-on experience completing at least one full Google Hotel Center implementation (not just running Hotel Ads campaigns). You have worked with: • Hotel / vacation rental feeds (hotel list + price / availability feeds) • Google Price Coverage & Price Accuracy diagnostics • Structured data markup for hotel / lodging landing pages. You can speak confidently about: • Passing Google’s final Hotel Center certification • Troubleshooting price discrepancies between Google and a booking engine • Managing large portfolios (thousands of properties, not just a single hotel). Applications without proof of prior Hotel Center implementation experience will not be considered, as we need someone who can contribute from day one. How to Apply In your proposal, please include all of the following: • A link to at least one live website for which you completed a Google Hotel Center implementation (required). • Briefly describe your role and what you implemented (feeds, structured data, troubleshooting, etc.). • A short explanation of how you typically approach improving Price Coverage and Price Accuracy for a large account. • Any example metrics or outcomes you can share (e.g., improvements in price coverage, trustability, or certification success). We’re ready to move quickly and will prioritize applicants who clearly demonstrate deep, specific experience with Google Hotel Center and lodging feeds.
