Job Overview
One of our client is looking for a Gluer Operator to set up, operate, and maintain folder-gluer machines in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves ensuring efficient production, monitoring product quality, and performing adjustments and basic maintenance to keep the equipment running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust the feeder, prefold, glue system, final fold, delivery, stacker, and pack station.
• Ensure consistent machine operation by troubleshooting issues and making necessary adjustments to optimize production.
• Maintain optimum machine speed and quickly detect and address malfunctions.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery and the work area.
• Handle and transport raw materials and finished products using industrial trucks or hand trucks.
• Maintain accurate production and operational data and documentation.
• Train co-workers on machine operation, setup, and production processes.
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating Bobst folder/gluers is an asset.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
