General Labourer

The General Labourer position provides production support and performs manual labor along a production line. Provides quality, effective parts, while meeting production targets. Responsible for cleaning work areas and equipment and perform other tasks as required.

Performance Expectations

• Load/Unload parts on/off the conveyor and machinery
• Perform quality checks as required. Reject product outside of specifications.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and notify your Supervisor or Manager of any known hazards

Credentials

• High School Diploma or GED is essential for basic skills in mathematics, reading, and writing.

Desired Characteristics

• Work experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
• Thorough understanding and application of safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards.
• Ability to follow basic instructions and perform repetitive tasks
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Moves equipment weighing up to 40 pounds on a repetitive basis.
