Front Desk Receptionist – Gems Athletics

Location: Gems Athletics, 18445 53RD Avenue Surrey
Position Type: Part-time (up to 30 hours/week)
Pay Range: $18 – $20/hour

About the Role

Gems Athletics is seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our athletes, families, and visitors. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public—especially kids—and thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment.

While no prior experience is required, previous customer service or reception experience is considered an asset. Cheerleading knowledge is not necessary, but having some familiarity with the sport is a plus.

Schedule

• Tuesday – Friday: 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• (Up to 25 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist families, athletes, and visitors with a positive, welcoming attitude
• Answer and direct phone calls and emails
• Assist the public with questions about programs and services
• Support coaches with administrative needs
• Oversee and manage the front desk area
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional space
• Work independently and collaboratively with the team
