About

The Ideal Candidate: You’re a business development professional in the recruitment/staffing industry with deep BC market experience and an established client network. You pair client acquisition strength with practical recruitment exposure—either hands-on recruiting experience or leading/managing recruiters (agency, RPO, or in-house)—so you can credibly translate client needs into delivery plans. You’re innovative and open-minded, comfortable tailoring value propositions by ICP and buying stage rather than a one-size-fits-all pitch. You value freelance, consultative, project-based work alongside your current commitments. Summary of the Role: The Fractional Client Acquisition Specialist brings our recruitment services to the BC market by leveraging your existing BC network and using our marketing materials to prospect, outreach and engage new qualified prospects. You book and host introduction meetings, move opportunities from discovery to proposal, and coordinate with our co-founders to secure signed client agreements. Because our recruitment model is contingency-based and non-exclusive, you’ll be positioning a low-risk, low-friction, and compelling offer that makes it easy for Qualified Prospects to get started with us. Collaboration mostly happens over scheduled Zoom calls aligned to your availability and that of our co-founders and operations manager. A typical week blends high-intent outreach with focused collaboration—scheduling and hosting intro/discovery calls, facilitating warm introductions, and joining internal strategy sessions to review pipeline, recommend workflow improvements, and refine marketing materials, offers, and talk tracks that support client acquisition. Work Schedule & Availability: Estimated Weekly Hours: 5-15 based on company needs and workload. Flexible Hours: Structure your workday and week as you see fit, while ensuring successful outcomes and effective communication with stakeholders. Meetings & Communication: Coordinate overlapping availability for meetings with stakeholders as needed. Hourly Rate: $50 per hour Hourly Work – Projects, Meetings, Consulting, etc. You will be paid an hourly rate for work that is not directly tied to Client Acquisition, including: Internal strategy and consulting meetings, workflow recommendations/development/optimization, marketing material recommendations/development, etc. Outcome Based Fees – Client Acquisition: Time you spend prospecting, networking, and advancing opportunities is solely at your discretion and not billed hourly. Instead, you earn fixed fees for specific outcomes: Introduction Meetings: $100 per Qualified Prospect that results in a successful virtual meeting introduction with an Authorized Signatory. Signed Client Agreements: $400 per signed Recruiting Services Agreement between Objective Recruiting Inc. and a Qualified Prospect. Cumulative Fees: If your Introduction Meeting leads to a Signed Client Agreement with the same Qualified Prospect, you earn both the Introduction Meeting fee and the Signed Client Agreement fee (total of $500). Note on our model: Our current recruitment model offering is on a contingency, non-exclusive basis. We do substantial recruiting work upfront at no cost, and clients can proceed at their sole discretion with no obligation—so client risk and reward is favorable, leaving low friction to gain contract signatures. Our recruitment model is subject to change. Expectations: Before any project work, we’ll present our product and objective recruiting service model. This brief orientation is a two-way fit check: we confirm you understand how we operate, and you assess whether—and how—you can add value. Stakeholder-Facing Professionalism: Conduct all stakeholder meetings and with business-appropriate attire and a well-organized, distraction-free workspace. Timesheet & Invoicing: (If applicable) Maintain and submit an accurate timesheet on days worked that itemizes tasks, projects, and billable hours to ensure transparency and alignment with your invoicing. We can provide templates for both timesheets and invoicing upon request. Zoom Recordings: Provide reasonable consent to participate in recorded zoom meetings with our stakeholders when applicable for updates, knowledge transfer, and general business purposes. Reporting & Feedback: We’ll mutually decide on a reporting approach that fits all of our schedules, ensuring we keep everyone informed and aligned. Reporting may be cadence-based schedule (like weekly summaries), a trigger-based model (updates at key milestones), or a hybrid of both. Requirements: Business Development Track Record: Verifiable success originating and/or closing client accounts for recruitment/staffing or adjacent B2B services in British Columbia (Canada). IC-Ready: No restrictive covenants that prevent introductions or advisory; willing to sign IC agreement + NDA.
