This engagement is about translating that progress into a professional-grade financial narrative to support our next phase of growth. 🧭 About the Role We’re a growing LegalTech SaaS company preparing to present to institutional investors and need a senior-level finance professional to build investor-grade proformas and projections for the next 2–3 years. *** Our investors have requested three financial scenarios to illustrate how our business performs under different strategic paths: • Lean / Internal Efficiency • Baseline / Steady State • Aggressive / Full GTM We need a partner who can translate our business model into clear, credible financials that can stand up to investor scrutiny. 📊 Responsibilities • Build a dynamic, driver-based financial model (Excel or Google Sheets) with toggles for 3 scenarios. • Produce 2–3 year projections including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet. • Model SaaS metrics and unit economics, including ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, gross margin, and runway. • Create a professional summary deck or presentation-ready financial overview. • Work directly with the CEO to ensure alignment with company strategy and investor expectations. 🧠 Ideal Background • 7+ years in CFO, FP&A, or financial strategy roles (preferably SaaS or venture-backed startups). • Deep understanding of SaaS business models and investor reporting standards. • Proven experience creating models for Series A–C fundraising or institutional investors. • Exceptional Excel/Sheets modeling ability — driver-based, scenario toggles, automated summaries. - Strong communication skills — able to explain complex models clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences. 📈 Deliverables • Investor-grade financial model with 3 scenarios • Summary assumptions & KPI dashboard • Investor presentation slides (optional but preferred) • Assume 1–2 short collaboration sessions with the CEO
