Responsibilities
• Operate various motorized and manual equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to handle freight and transport materials.
• Load and unload freight from trailers and containers, ensuring all items are properly secured and accounted for.
• Verify that all shipping and receiving documentation, including weight and hazardous materials information, is accurate and matches the freight description.
• Inspect and repair damaged freight as needed to maintain product integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company policies and safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and documentation, including completing required reports and tracking data.
• Provide excellent communication and support to team members and management to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform additional duties as required to support warehouse and logistics operations.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 2 years of dock or warehouse experience.
• Prior experience operating a forklift is required.
• A valid forklift certificate is a strong asset.
• The physical capacity to lift and carry hand freight up to 50 lbs, and to perform physical tasks like bending, twisting, and squatting throughout the shift.
• A flexible and reliable approach to working an overnight schedule.
• A commitment to following safety regulations and company procedures.
