We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Worker to join our team.

Duties

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems for order processing and payment handling
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist customers with menu selections, upselling items, and answering questions about menu options
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Support team members in all aspects of food service to ensure smooth operations

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in food service or the food industry, including restaurant or cafeteria roles. Skills that are valuable include:

• Certified Food Handler(Ontario)
• Food preparation and handling techniques
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast or similar platforms
• Cashiering and cash handling expertise
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and inventory management
• Kitchen experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. This role requires good time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in serving or food industry roles will be advantageous for success in this position.
