Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Other miscellaneous crop farming. Tasks: Apply fertilizers. Apply the technique of hoeing between the row. Clean the crops. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Cut agricultural crops. Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Dose water saturation, light and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Greenhouse cleaning. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Hand harvesting vegetables. Harvest seedlings. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Mixing fertilizer. Monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns. Monitoring animal health. Pack fruits and vegetables. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Seed cutting. Shear and shape trees and plants with knife. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Write daily basic progress reports. Clean work area. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
