Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals. Diagnose livestock health issues. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Greenhouse cleaning. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform animal grooming activities . Perform livestock feeding. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly . Treat livestock health issues. Weeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Milk cows. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals.
