We are a large scale grain farm located near Portage la Prairie. We require a reliable individual to assist our team primarily in the operation of various farm equipment and trucks. Our crew generally consists of 18-22 members during peak seeding and harvest seasons.

Job Description:
This position will entail the full spectrum of farming on a large scale, from seeding to spraying to harvest operations. This enterprising individual should have a desire to learn what it takes to work within a team environment to make a large scale grain and special crops farm function efficiently. General mechanical abilities would be used.

The position is full-time seasonal. Seasonal work is typically from April to the end of November. Year-round employment is a possibility based on skillset. Advancement opportunities available.

We also hire seasonal help for people who only want to work for a few weeks at seeding and/or harvest.

Compensation:
-Wage $20/hr-$40/hr depending on candidate and experience

Qualifications:
-Farm experience preferred
-Experience in equipment operation an asset
-Valid Class 5 drivers license
-Ability to work long hours and weekends at seeding and harvest
