• The Role of the Facilities Technician is to support maintenance, safety, security and facilities standards within the DC. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work across various shift patterns.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support in maintaining site in the best condition possible​
• Secure activities in order to ensure safety, security standards within DC​
• Detect any potential areas of vulnerability, asses for risks and act on it​
• Maintain high waste management level in the DC​
• Educate DC team in all relevant safety and facilities areas​
• Support in overseeing contractors during on site visits​
• Support people & business growth and development by ensuring that Security strategy is followed within the DC​
• Initiate processes to support sustainability

WHO YOU ARE

• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting safety and security standards, along with excellent communication and coordination skills. They will bring a collaborative mindset and the ability to co-create effectively with others. An agile approach to work, a positive attitude toward change, and a focus on meaningful growth are essential. The candidate should be inclusive and empathetic, encouraging diversity and fostering a respectful workplace. They will also have the ability to understand the impact of their actions on others and recognize how their contributions support the broader goals of the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Minimum of 2 year’s experience in construction, carpentry, building maintenance and or general repairs capacity
• Proficient with power and hand tools​
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.​.​
• Ability to climb a ladder and use of step stool which will involve heights​
• Ability to take initiative in completing tasks and solve problems​
