About
Hi, I run an established automotive lifestyle and review site with ~30k monthly visitors, mostly in North America (Men). Right now, the site is monetized only with ads — not my favorite long-term model — and I’m exploring whether selling quality products directly to my audience could be a viable business. I’m new to e-commerce, so before jumping into a store build, I’d like guidance on feasibility: Is an online shop realistic for my audience and traffic size? What kind of products (gear, branded merch, photography prints, etc.) are most likely to work? What would a simple but professional setup look like in terms of costs, timeline, and maintenance? If the business case makes sense, then I’d need help with: Platform selection (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) Store setup, payments, and seamless integration with my site Best practices for product strategy, marketing, and conversions I want to focus on quality over volume and build something sustainable, not just another ad channel. Could you share your experience with similar projects, and help me assess whether this is the right move before committing? Thanks, AR
