About

I’m looking for a talented video creator or small team to produce a professional explainer documentary video—similar in style to CNBC’s visual storytelling (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RL56vFjoPF0&pp=ygUhbWFrZSBjbmJjIGV4cGxhaW5zIHZpZGVvIHVzaW5nIGFp) The first project will focus on the topic: “The Future Bank Won’t Look Like a Bank: From Impact Portfolios to Peer-to-Peer Economies.” This video should explore how fintech innovation, cooperatives, and ethics are merging to redefine finance in a post-capitalist world. I’m looking for someone who can handle both storytelling and technical production — ideally with experience in explainer videos, motion design, or economic/financial content. The goal is to create content that’s visually dynamic, intelligent, and easy to follow — aligning with my organization’s mission to make social finance accessible and thought-provoking. Each video will follow this narrative flow: Hook / Cold Open – Start with a compelling question or visual that draws the audience in. Problem Statement – Define the issue (e.g., financial exclusion, centralized banking systems). Historical Context – Provide a brief background or evolution. Human Impact / Case Study – Highlight a real or representative example. Mechanism Explained – Use visuals or diagrams to simplify complex systems. Innovation & Global Comparisons – Showcase how different regions or actors are solving the issue. Future Outlook – Offer insights into what’s next for finance and society. Closing Message – End with a reflective or visionary statement. What I’m Looking For: Proven experience in documentary-style or explainer video editing Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual design Ability to work with AI tools or stock footage creatively Understanding of finance, economics, or social impact topics is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate on revisions This is the first of several videos planned on social finance, ethical banking, and sustainable investment. The right candidate could become a long-term collaborator. Budget: Flexible depending on experience and quality but not over $25 per video. Length: 8–10 minutes per video. Timeline: 2–3 weeks per project.
