About
Email Marketing Specialist (Campaigns & Automation) As an Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll own our clients’ email campaigns from strategy to send to reporting. You’ll plan, write, design, build, and manage email campaigns with minimal guidance, then break down performance into clear, actionable insights for the team and client. Responsibilities Plan and execute email campaigns from point A to point B (strategy, copy, design, build, QA, schedule, and send). Write compelling, on-brand email copy (subject lines, body, CTAs, preheaders, etc.). Design clean, conversion-focused email layouts using templates or from scratch. Set up segmentation, automations, and basic flows (welcome, nurture, promo, re-engagement, etc.). Monitor campaign performance and deliver clear analytical reports (open rate, CTR, conversions, revenue, list growth, etc.). Make data-driven recommendations to improve deliverability, engagement, and ROI. Manage lists: imports/exports, tagging, cleaning, and basic compliance (unsubscribe, preferences). Coordinate with the team to align email strategy with overall campaigns, launches, and promotions. Requirements Proven experience managing email marketing end-to-end with little to no supervision. Strong writing skills with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and brand voice. Comfortable designing emails in major ESPs (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel, etc.). Solid understanding of email metrics, A/B testing, and how to turn data into next steps. Strong attention to detail (links, formatting, mobile responsiveness, spelling/grammar). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Available daily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST. (must) Team player with great communication skills. Nice to Have Experience building automations/flows and advanced segmentation. Familiarity with funnels and integrating email with ads, landing pages, and lead magnets. Basic HTML for email tweaks and troubleshooting. Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Trello).
