We are seeking an experienced iOS developer to rebuild our existing gut-health tracking app from scratch. The current app has technical debt and performance issues, and we need a clean, efficient, and scalable rebuild that delivers a premium user experience and reliable performance. The app involves image processing, data visualization, and scoring elements. Frontend: Swift / React Native Backend: Firebase, Cloud Functions, REST API integration AI Processing: OpenAI GPT-4o Vision (or equivalent image analysis API) Database: Firebase Firestore Analytics: Revenue Cat, Firebase Analytics, App Store Connect Metrics What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of mobile development experience Strong understanding of clean architecture, scalability, and performance optimization Experience with Firebase, image processing APIs, and app performance tuning A good design sense — UI should look smooth and modern (no clunky elements) Excellent communication and ability to take initiative with problem-solving Bonus: Experience shipping apps in the health/wellness space Budget: 💰 $2,500–$5,000 USD (depending on experience and scope clarity) We value quality and speed — if you can deliver a clean, optimized build that’s production-ready, we’re happy to pay competitively.
