About
We are a fast-growing short-term rental and corporate housing company managing multiple properties across different markets. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented bookkeeper to help us stay on top of our financials and maintain clean, up-to-date books. Responsibilities: • Maintain clear records for short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com) and property management software (Hostaway) • Maintain and reconcile accounts using QuickBooks Online • Categorize transactions from multiple bank and credit card accounts • Reconcile monthly statements and ensure accuracy • Track income and expenses per property/unit • Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) • Coordinate with our CPA for tax preparation Requirements: • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) & Hostaway • Bookkeeping experience in the real estate or short-term rental industry preferred • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Understanding of U.S. accounting principles • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Excellent communication skills Bonus if you have experience with: • Hostaway or similar property management systems • Short-term rental platforms and revenue tracking • Setting up automated rules and tagging in QBO Scope: • Ongoing, part-time role with flexible hours • Initial commitment of 5–10 hours/week, with potential for more as we grow If you’re a proactive and dependable bookkeeper with experience in the STR or hospitality space, we’d love to hear from you.
