We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to design and implement a dynamic, user-friendly Order Form based on our product catalog using Microsoft Excel. This tool is essential for streamlining our sales process, allowing us to generate accurate project pricing quickly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Form Development: Design and build an intuitive order form interface within Excel that mirrors our existing product catalog structure. We can share an example if needed. Coding and Formula Implementation: Utilize advanced Excel formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, conditional logic) and VBA (Macros) or Google Apps Script to create a robust and automated calculation engine. Dynamic Pricing Engine: Implement complex calculations based on user-selected Item Codes and quantities. Automatic Price Calculation: The form must automatically retrieve and calculate the base price for all selected items from a hidden data sheet. Fee Integration: Develop functionality to accurately calculate and apply the following fees using formulas: Applicable Taxes (based on location/settings). Delivery Charges (based on defined criteria, e.g., order size, total weight). Assembly Charges (based on selected items requiring assembly). Quote Generation: The final output must be a professional, print-ready or exportable project quote sheet that clearly breaks down all charges (subtotal, fees, taxes, and grand total). Testing and Documentation: Thoroughly test the tool for calculation accuracy and provide clear documentation on how to update and maintain the underlying formulas and data tables. Required Skills and Experience Proven experience in developing automated, complex calculation tools in Microsoft Excel. Mandatory proficiency in writing and debugging advanced formulas and VBA/Google Apps Script for complex lookup, calculation, and quote generation tasks. Strong understanding of conditional logic and dynamic pricing implementation. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to structure data tables for efficient retrieval. Excellent communication skills to clearly understand our pricing structure and output needs. Project Deliverables A fully functional, tested, and integrated Order Form/Quote Tool workbook/sheet. A detailed price calculation structure documentation, including explanations of key formulas/scripts. Training and walkthrough for our team on how to use and update the tool.
