The Energy Data Analyst will work closely with senior advisors to support energy procurement, risk management, and strategic initiatives for major clients across North America.   • Accountabilities

As an Energy Data Analyst, you will

  • Support senior advisors and Energy Managers with client deliverables related to energy procurement, budgeting, risk management, and market insights.
  • Conduct data analysis of utility, supplier, and market information to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards, and other documentation for internal and client-facing meetings.
  • Assist with client onboarding, ongoing service delivery, and proactive monitoring of client needs.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, pricing deadlines, project milestones, and client decisions.
  • Support RFP coordination, pricing events, and energy budgeting exercises.
  • Collaborate with internal advisory, operations, and data teams to improve processes, tools, and client outcomes.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, energy management, sustainability, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the energy industry (utilities, energy suppliers, consulting, or corporate buying).
  • Exposure to U.S. electricity or natural gas markets is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization or analysis tools.
  • Highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfort in client-facing situations and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in energy markets and procurement strategies.
