We are looking for a detail-oriented Email Customer Support Representative to handle customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and care. This role is primarily focused on email support, ensuring customers receive clear, timely, and empathetic responses that reflect our brand voice. The ideal candidate has experience with Shopify for managing orders, returns, and customer accounts, and is comfortable using ChatGPT or similar AI tools to draft and refine responses, maintain consistency, and improve efficiency. You will play a key role in turning support interactions into positive customer experiences while helping us refine templates, FAQs, and customer service processes. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner - Resolve issues related to orders, payments, returns, and product information via Shopify - Use ChatGPT/AI tools to draft, edit, and improve customer communication - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions - Collaborate with the team to update email templates, SOPs, and FAQs - Escalate complex cases when needed while maintaining ownership until resolution Requirements: - 1–2+ years of email customer support experience (e-commerce preferred) - Strong working knowledge of Shopify backend (orders, refunds, apps, customer profiles) - Familiarity with ChatGPT or AI-driven customer support tools - Excellent written communication skills: professional, empathetic, and clear - Ability to manage multiple email threads efficiently while meeting response time goals - Organized, dependable, and proactive problem-solver
